Dr. Ioannis (Yiannis) Konstantaras is a Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia of Economic and Social Sciences, Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Greece (first in class). He completed his graduate education at the Department of Mathematics, University of Ioannina, Greece, receiving a M.Sc. (2001) in Statistics and Operational Research and a Ph.D. (2006) in Operational Research. Dr. Konstantaras’ current research interests lie in the operations research, optimization, reverse logistics and supply chain management. Specific applications of interest include: mathematical modelling and optimization for inventory control, supply chain and reverse logistics.
