Communications management is quite important in project-oriented organizations. PMBOK guideline is a good guideline to create efficient and effective communication. In this paper the application of communication management field of PMBOK guideline has been presented in projects processes of a project-oriented organization for effective communications management. To better understand the concepts, processes associated with projects in Lorestan province Gas Company have been employed as a project organization. The methodology includes three steps of data collection through interviews with relevant personnel, identification of processes and processes analysis based on Communications Management field of PMBOK guideline. Additional and unnecessary information turnover in the processes has been identified and removed. The results showed that creating correct communication in an organization will eliminate many of the existing delays in the processes. Also the results showed that communications management improvement leads to the improvement in all knowledge fields of PMBOK guideline in an organization, resultinginreducedtime andcost, efficient use oflimited resourcesand increased efficiencyand viabilityofthe organization.}, keywords = {Communication Management,PMBOK project management guideline,project,organization}, url = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43037.html}, eprint = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43037_03894dbdacff8752b0de864878577bb2.pdf} } @article { author = {Hosseini Nogourani, Somayeh and Soltani, Iraj and Karbasian, Mehdi}, title = {An Integrated Model for Decision-making under Uncertainty and Risk to Select Appropriate Strategy for a Company}, journal = {Journal of Applied Research on Industrial Engineering}, volume = {1}, number = {3}, pages = {136-147}, year = {2014}, publisher = {Research Expansion Alliance (REA) on behalf of Ayandegan Institute of Higher Education}, issn = {2538-5100}, eissn = {2676-6167}, doi = {}, abstract = {Recognition and select appropriate strategies to improve the condition of organizations in the eve of the crisis is important. Due to proper planning horizons in strategy-focused organizations, risk and decision making under uncertainty is greatly reduced. Therefore, it's necessary to specification and characterization the relationship between strategic management and risk management and select the best strategy of it. Accordingly, in this paper to demonstrate a direct correlation between the results of managerial strategic decision making and environmental analysis of organizations to find its strategic condition is used compilation model that both of them in order to inappropriate condition of organization are for selection the best option. The strategic areas identified by analyzing the internal and external environment of the organization, which includes the recognition of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the help of SWOT Matrix. Finally, based on the criteria and methods of Wald classical approaches, Hurwicz, Maximax, Savage, Laplace, mean-variance decisions are based on expectations, the most likely conditions, Expected Opportunity Loss (EOL), the cost of uncertainty, the coefficient of variation and limits of responsibility, two strategies are determined by the choice of strategies. In single objective problems, costs were considered as the objective. However, multi-objective problems have not been well investigated. For instance, there are no hint to transportation cost, budget, or holding costs, or only capacity and demand constraints have been considered in these researches. This study focuses on developing a model accompanied by costs, quality and the time of delivery.The economic order quantity of multi-product from multi-supplier in multi-period under uncertainty in demand and discounted prices are considered in this paper. In first step, a mathematical model is developed for this problem. This mathematical model is solved by using multi-objective optimization method i.e. goal programming. Then, a meta-heuristic method based on multi-objective particle swarm optimization is proposed. Results of the small size numerical examples show that solutions found by using the proposed meta-heuristic method are in average, 5% worse than solutions found by using the mathematical methods; however, it needs much lower computational time.}, keywords = {Economic order quantity,Discounted price,Multi-objective Particle swarm optimization}, url = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43048.html}, eprint = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43048_a3b2d4e07540470c2d53e1e65ec25158.pdf} } @article { author = {Arabzad, S. It is also interesting as a research problem, in part due to its difficulty, because the result of a sports match is dependent on many factors, such as the morale of a team (or a player), skills, current score, etc. So even for sports experts, it is very hard to predict the exact results of sports matches. This research discusses using a machine learning approach, Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), to predict the outcomes of one week, specifically applied to the Iran Pro League (IPL) 2013-2014 football matches. The data obtained from the past matches in the seven last leagues are used to make better predictions for the future matches. This paper deals with the design of a multi-product closed-loop supply chain network, in which some production centers experience minor and general disruptions. The proposed network has three levels in the forward direction (i.e., suppliers, plants and distributors) and three levels in the reverse direction (i.e., collection centers, redistribution and disposal). Initially, plants prepare their needed raw materials from the suppliers; after production in plants, the final products are delivered to customers through distribution centers, percentage of these products are collected from customers by collecting centers. In the collection centers, the percentage of products is returned to manufacturing factories for recycling, percentage of them is sent to redistribution centers for sale to secondary customers, and the percentage that does not possess any capability of the cited items will be sent to disposal centers. The mathematical model presented in this study is a bi-objective mixed-integer nonlinear model while maximizing the profit, the delivery time to customers will be minimized. For validation of the model, a numerical example is provided by Pareto curve, in which the profit is versus the time.}, keywords = {Bi-objective model,Closed-loop supply chain network,Facility disruptions}, url = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43053.html}, eprint = {https://www.journal-aprie.com/article_43053_ce2ca80c6f8c7ed061932e71934135d7.pdf} }
