In traditional cost-efficiency models, inputs and outputs, as well as input prices were known as constant values for each decision-making unit In our daily applications, however, market entry prices vary at different times. In other words, input prices for decision-making units (DMUs) are time dependent. Traditional methods cannot calculate the cost efficiency of DMUs with time-dependent prices. This paper proposes a new method to calculate the cost efficiency of DMUs in the presence of time-dependent prices. The proposed model is a parametric programming problem model depending on time. In the presented model, the inputs and outputs are functions in terms of time, which is not present in the models introduced by other researchers. New definitions for time-dependent cost efficiency have also been introduced. The cost efficiency of DMUs is measured over a given time and the units are ranked according to the time obtained. Finally, a numerical example has been presented to illustrate the proposed method.

One of the critical concerns in the audit court is to study budgetary deviations of the executive organizations. Audit court seeks methods to evaluations the executive organizations based on their budget deviations. The aim of this study is to rank executive agencies aimed at the improvement of their performance. We use a ranking method based on data envelopment analysis that can simultaneously use multi-indexes for ranking and we use budget split indexes of the audit court for ranking of executive organizations. The results enable managers to identify the best and worst executive agencies based on the considered indexes of the budget split of the audit court. The objectives of this paper are to investigate which executive organizations have more budget deviations. Any organization that had a lower rank shows that it has based on the indexes under evaluation more deviation. To study the performance process of each of the executive agencies, we collected data for two years and analyzed the performance of the executive agencies during these two years.

One of the most important issues in modern societies is to provide better services and evaluation of provided services. Service organizations are always looking to increase their level of customer satisfaction. In this context, Service quality and service quality gaps analysis are taken into account. In this paper a method developed for ranking service organization based on the services quality approach and multi attribute decision making tools. In this method, options are organizations and the indicators are service quality gaps. However, other than gaps the perception of service quality is considered as a separate indicator. The weight of indicators are calculated by paired comparisons tools and experts panel results. Linear assignment method is used to rank the options. The developed method is used to rank seven hotels in city of Isfahan. The results show that the implemented method ranked the Abbasi hotel as first and Kosar hotel as last in the ranking.

DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is a linear programming method whose main purpose is comparing and evaluating a number of similar decision making units with different amounts of input and output. Using this method, one can rank efficient and inefficient companies and then among the efficient companies, identify the efficiency frontier. In ranking stock companies, one of the factors which have been overlooked in previous research is “Intellectual Capital” index. In this paper, based on this index, along with financial indices, the petrochemical companies listed on the stock exchange have been ranked by means of Data Envelopment Analysis method and then efficient and inefficient companies have been identified. Subsequently, employing Benchmark Approach, efficient units have been ranked. Also, to determine the importance of inputs, by applying Sensitivity Analysis, the model has been solved three times, each time removing one of the inputs and the difference between the obtained values and the values gotten from the primal model has been calculated. The results of the study show that among the 16 companies under study, 9 units have been known to be efficient and the “Intellectual Capital” index, as an input in DEA model, has a significant role in evaluating these units.

One of the applications of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is in ranking of Decision Making Units (DMUs). When some DMUs are the same in efficiency score, this ranking results in failure. Various methods are introduced to rank efficient and inefficient DMUs and attempt to give a fully ranking in order to improve the evaluation. Many articles are published in this field so that have some problems. In this paper, by considering undesirable outputs and extending the inefficient space, a complete ranking of DMUs is presented. On the other hands using facet as a complement of previous methods leads to a fully ranking.
